Weekend Happenings

Luna Boston Moving Sale - My plan for tomorrow is to go to the gym, vacuum and mop the floors, and then take a much deserved trip to Luna Boston for their moving sale. The handbag and shoe haven is sadly closing up its Newbury Street shop on Monday to focus on Web site sales. Their Charlestown showroom will stick around, though it's by appointment only. The good news is that the store will be offering deep discounts this weekend at 205 Newbury Street to move out stock: 40% off full price items, an additional 20% off sale bags and an additional 40% off sale shoes.

Puma by Alexander McQueen Trunk Show - Head over to Stil Studio at Legacy Place in Dedham from 11 to 2 on Saturday for a preview of the collection, followed by a Yoga for Runners Workshop.

Design Within Reach Storage Sale - A dream for anal organizers like me! Modernist shelving, sideboards, dressers and more are 15% off through March 2.

Leap into Spring Fashion - Tonight at 8:30, Anthem is holding its 3rd annual charity fashion show at Revolution Rock Bar to benefit the Children's Trust Fund. Tickets are $30 ($40 for premium tickets), and the featured designers are Catherine Marie Courture, Jennifer Reale Design, Jess DiPietro and Venni Caprice.

60th Annual New England Home Show - The largest and longest-running home show in New England will take place today until 9 pm, Saturday 10-9 and Sunday 10-6 at the Seaport World Trade Center. Expect an overwhelming number of exhibitors, plus as crafts fair. Tickets are $12.
